Another Wonderful Review

The Red-Headed Book Lover has written another five star review of one of my New Druids series novels: Craobh, Volume 2.

Head over and check out her wonderful website. She reviews all sorts of novels and I’m inordinately pleased she finds my novels acceptable. Nothing pleases an author more than to read a positive review. It empowers me and leaves me wanting to write more for my readers.

Thanks Aimee Ann!

Stoc wins Gold!

I am very pleased to announce that my third novel in the New Druids series, Stoc, has won the GOLD award in the Dan Poynter’s Global eBook Awards 2018 (GeBA) in the category Fantasy, Other Worlds.

This marks the third award from the organisation for my novels, Duilleog won GOLD in 2016, Craobh one BRONZE in 2017, and now another GOLD for Stoc.

Thanks to Dan Poynter’s GeBA and the judges. You honour me. And congratulations to the other winners.

Freamhaigh concludes the Will Arbor storyline in the New Druids series of epic fantasy novels.

The realm of Belkin is now in open civil war. The southern county of Turgany rises up to try to defeat the self-proclaimed President and end his tyrannical rule.

Will Arbor, Freamhaigh to the druids, must find a way to counter the threat of Erebus. Gaea has been wounded and her powers have become unstable. Meanwhile, the Sect of the Church of the New Order rises from the ashes with greater powers and threatens to destroy the unstable harmony of the Realm.

Will Arbor and the druids are all that stands between Erebus and the land of Belkin. Will has grown as a druid and still struggles to come to terms with being the Freamhaigh. As forces race to an exciting conclusion, Will must be ready to accept his role and make a difference for all he holds dear.

Stoc Released on Amazon

Stoc: Volume Three

Great news! Stoc is now live for purchase on Amazon! I released the novel last night and pushed the final build to Amazon. I’ve got the novel up on my Kindle and it looks great!

The paperback version will be out as soon as I can finish the work and approve the proof. This usually takes me about 3-4 weeks. It is easier now than with my first novel. It just requires a little patience on my part and a goodly amount of time in Word making the formatting perfect. By the way, Stoc clocks in at almost exactly 100,000 words (I’m shy by seven words). This puts the novel at my least amount of words but honestly, I think that is the perfect amount of words.

I am truly very pleased with Stoc. It tells the story of the struggle Will has in coming to terms with what his draoi can do and what he is being asked to do by those who wish to return the land back to the original monarchy. I hope you enjoy!

In other news, I have started Freamhaigh, Volume Four! It will come out as soon as I can write it but likely in early 2018. It never seems to end! The outline is started and the story I always envisaged is starting to come close to completing. Two more novels I think: Freamhaigh and then Cill Darae. Five is a perfect number for a series. Don’t you think? Any more than that and I get annoyed as a reader.

Meanwhile, I am in Portsmouth, England. I am enjoying the English fare and the weather which has been lovely. I will need to go on a diet when I get home on Thursday.

Lastly, please come check out the launch party tonight. It starts at 5 pm EST with me kicking it off and talking about Stoc and the New Druids Series. There will be prizes!
