Donald D. Allan

DONALD D. ALLAN is a Canadian author of fantasy and science fiction and a retired senior officer in the Royal Canadian Navy.

He is the gold medal winner of the Dan Poynter’s Global eBook Awards (GeBA) 2016 for the category Fantasy/Other Worlds for his debut novel Duilleog, the first novel in his New Druids series. His second novel, Craobh, from the same series, has been award the Bronze Medal for GeBA 2017 in the same category.

Donald lives with his wife Marilyn, son James, daughter Katherine, and dog Woody, in Ottawa, Canada.

Donald is writing Freamhaigh, the fourth volume, due out in 2018. He is also working on his sci-fi novel involving nanobots from 3 billion years ago.
