In advance of the publication of Craobh: A New Druids series, Volume Two, I am now offering Duilleog: A New Druids series, Volume One for FREE over at Smashwords. This should allow those who want to dive into my world unfettered access to the start of the story. My new editor, Miranda Schmidt is doing a wonderful job in making my mess readable.

New Look to the Website

Hey, everyone. Beautiful weather outside as Spring is finally coming to Canada’s Nation Capital. If you don’t know where that is: look it up. That’s your growth and learning assignment for the day!

In celebration of rebirth and the emergence of life in all forms, I have revamped the website. Bask in its simplicity! Revel in the austere lines and beautiful colour coordination!

Also, I have opened the website up for members and reallowed comments without the need for my manual approval. Please note: I reserve the right to remove anything I find offensive. PG rating is what I want to maintain! I am praying my spam filter works this time!

Lastly, if you have read all the way down to here you will be pleased to know that Duilleog will go on sale in advance of Craobh being released on May 31, 2016. It will be a special low, low price. And, look for advanced sales opportunities for Craobh! When you pre-order, you’ll be sure to get your hands on it the moment it’s released. Craobh will be with my editor very shortly. Craobh: First Revision Completed

Craobh: A New Druids Series, Volume Two

The first revision of Craobh is completed. I opted to go for a straight grammar and typo revision for this first pass. I removed the poorly chosen words, the “that” word, the -ly adverbs – all the usual bad writing habit stuff. I’ve stayed at 137K words. That’s about 17K words more than Duilleog.

I’m really pleased with this second novel. I learned so much writing Duilleog and it is reflected in this second volume. Some loose ends are tied up. More back story added. Some cool fights and magic! What more could you want?

Oh, you want the actual book in your hand? Well, good news on that front. I have found a professional editor who has agreed to help me out. I should have the novel back by mid-May. I make the necessary changes and I should be good for a May 31st, 2016 release date.
